Jose L. Rios, MD
Dr. Rios is a board certified plastic surgeon in Naperville and Joliet.
Dr. Rios was born in New Jersey and raised in Miami, Florida. He moved back to New Jersey to attend Princeton University and complete his undergraduate studies in Biology. He was awarded the Charles B. Cannon Memorial Prize for the best thesis presentation, and inducted into Sigma Xi Research Honor Society. He received his medical education at The New York University School of Medicine. He earned his degree of Doctor of Medicine with Honors, and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Rios completed a residency in General Surgery at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He obtained his Plastic Surgery training from the prestigious Department of Plastic Surgery at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. The Department of Plastic Surgery and its faculty are leaders in the field nationally and abroad. Dr. Rios has co-authored multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals on a variety of topics in Plastic Surgery. He has presented his research at the local, state, and national levels. He received board certification in Surgery from the American Board of Surgery, and in Plastic Surgery from the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Rios performs a wide variety of reconstructive procedures and cosmetic plastic surgery for Naperville, Joliet, and greater Chicago residents. He will use his extensive training to find the solutions that fit your particular needs.
