This 46 year old woman was a D cup during pregnancy, but afterward her breasts reduced down to a full B cup. She missed the voluptuous breast appearance she enjoyed during pregnancy and wanted to regain the fullness of her chest, so she did some research on breast enlargement in Naperville, Illinois.

She came to my office interested in learning more about the different implant types available. The majority of my patients now choose the new generation of silicone gel breast implants, which to most women look and feel more like natural breast tissue. I also offer saline breast implants for women who do not feel that silicone implants are right for them, and for women between the ages of 18 and 22 who are interested in breast augmentation. Silicone gel implants are not available to women under the age of 22 for primary (first time) augmentation.

This patient chose silicone gel implants, placed underneath the muscle to create a very natural-looking breast shape. To balance out the proportions of her upper body, I used 425 cc implants for both breasts. The patient had remarkable existing breast symmetry which is why I did not have to use 2 differently sized implants.

She is very happy with the result of her plastic surgery in the Naperville area: shapely breast contour and scars that continue to lighten and fade. Most of my patients go out the night of surgery, most are back to everyday activity in 1 to 2 days, and almost all never take anything more than Motrin for pain control.
